Data Center Engineer at Huawei Zimbabwe – Harare

Responsible for the electrical design and delivery of Huawei data center projects, including site survey and selection, planning and management of design drawings, technical coordination during construction (including design changes and on-site technical support), and technical support and design management throughout the entire lifecycle of the project, including testing and acceptance.

Responsible for quality, schedule, cost, and risk control of project design to achieve the goals for design delivery in terms of schedule and cost.

Responsible for the planning of electromechanical products for data centers, consolidating Huawei's and industry requirements, clarifying product features, and developing electromechanical products and solutions as needed.

- Bachelor Degree
- Familiar with electromechanical products related to data centers and have on-site management experience in data center electromechanical projects.
- Proficient in the electrical system architecture of data centers and the technical characteristics and cost composition of related electrical products; familiar with Huawei's data center design and construction standards, and knowledgeable about data center HVAC, intelligent systems, fire protection, building decoration, and integrated wiring systems.
- Possess strong communication, expression, and comprehension skills, able to quickly understand customer needs and accurately and clearly explain product solutions to customers.
- Have a cost-conscious and service-oriented mindset; possess good logical thinking, organizational coordination, and implementation capabilities.
