Graduate Trainee I.T. at BDO Zimbabwe Chartered Accountants – Harare

The Graduate Trainee I.T. role is responsible for planning and conducting IT audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls, efficiency of operations, governance arrangements, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and management policies. Duties include planning and conducting I.T. audits to assess the effectiveness of controls and efficiency of operations, identifying I.T. risks and recommending solutions to improve processes, and evaluating I.T. infrastructure for compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies. The role ensures that I.T. governance and controls are in place and effective, assesses data management practices and the adequacy of I.T. controls, and assists with conducting walk-throughs, control testing, and the collection and documentation of audit evidence. Furthermore, the trainee will prepare clear audit working papers, support the drafting of audit findings and reports, follow up on agreed audit recommendations, maintain issue-tracking records, and support reviews of new systems, systems implementations, and relevant regulatory requirements.

- Minimum I.T. Related Degree from a reputable institution.
