MUNICIPALITY OF GWANDA CONTRACT VACANCY: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ASSISTANT (2) The Municipality of Gwanda invites suitable qualified candidates for the above post, who possess the following qualities.

REPORTS TO: THE SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

Duties and Responsibilities
* Install, configure and maintain desktop computers, software, printers, peripherals and other ICT equipment.
* Provide first-line technical support to Council staff across departments.
* Monitor and maintain the Council’s Local Area Network (LAN) and internet connectivity.
* Database maintenance including back ups and basic trouble shooting.
* Maintain and update ICT asset registers and documentation.
* Maintenance of the Council’s ERP system, website, email systems and communication platforms.
* Install, configure and maintain VoIP phone.

- 5 O’ Level including Mathematics and English.
- Must have a National Diploma in Information Technology.
- At least two (2) years experience working in related field.
- Working knowledge of PROMUN, SAGE or LADS is an added advantage.
