Teaching Assistant - Irrigation and Water Engineering at Gwanda State University – Gwanda

The University seeks to engage a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Natural Resources Management and Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and Crop Production.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Assist lecturers in delivering tutorials, practicals, and laboratory sessions in irrigation and water engineering.
-Support students with coursework, assignments, and fieldwork related to irrigation systems, water resource management, and hydrology.
-Conduct demonstrations on irrigation technologies and water conservation practices.
-Provide academic guidance and mentorship to undergraduate students.
-Contribute to research projects and departmental activities.

-A Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2:1 classification or better) in Irrigation and Water Engineering or a closely related field
-Five O-Level passes, including English and Mathematics
-Applicants must be 30 years of age or below
-Must enroll for a Master’s Degree in the 1st year of study
-Excellent communication and organisational skills
-Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students
-Qualifications must be obtained from a reputable institution
