Role Description
The Laundry Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based in Mount Pleasant. This role includes receiving, sorting, and labeling laundry orders, operating washers and dryers, and performing wash, fold, and iron services according to company standards. The Laundry Attendant will ensure garments and linens are handled carefully, follow established cleaning procedures, and maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace. Daily responsibilities also include checking orders for quality, packaging completed laundry, and assisting with pick-up and delivery coordination when needed. The role involves regular interaction with customers and team members to provide accurate information, resolve basic service inquiries, and support a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
Practical skills and experience in Laundry and Laundry Services, including wash, fold, and iron tasks.
Ability to operate and monitor Dryers and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact courteously with clients and coworkers.
Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and maintain high quality standards.
Reliability and time management skills to handle full-time shifts and meet service timelines.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift laundry bags, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
Basic literacy and numeracy to read labels, follow procedures, and track orders accurately.
Previous experience in a laundry, hospitality, or cleaning environment is an advantage but not required.
Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
Driver's license.
Data entry skills.
