PRODUCTION MANAGER – FOOD AND BEVERAGE PROCESSING UNIT
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
-Overseeing and coordinating all production processes to ensure efficient operations and adherence to quality and safety standards.
-Managing production schedules, inventory levels, and raw material sourcing to align with demand forecasts.
-Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as HACCP and GMP.
-Collaborating with R&D and quality assurance teams on product development, testing, and process improvements.
-Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing production team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
-Monitoring production costs and optimizing resource allocation to drive cost efficiencies.
-Ensuring adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations and maintaining compliance with standard operating procedures and GMP principles.
-Conducting regular assessments of production procedures, process flows, and equipment functionality, in collaboration with technicians and the Quality department.
-Providing comprehensive leadership in planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the production function to meet operational goals.
-Performing any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
