Receptionist Cashier at RAINBOW TOURISM GROUP – Bulawayo

Rainbow Tourism Group is inviting applications for the position of Receptionist Cashier at Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel. The role reports to the Front Office Supervisor.

Principal responsibilities include taking guest reservations, checking in and checking out guests, and conducting cashiering functions. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining guest accounts, updating guest profiles, transferring city ledger to accounts receivable, and ensuring guest history accounts are kept current. Furthermore, the role involves attending to guests and their enquiries, interacting with guests, collecting guest feedback, and noting special guest needs to communicate them accordingly.

- Holder of a Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management or equivalent
- Knowledge of Opera system is a requirement
- At least 2-3 years’ relevant experience in a similar post
- Yield management and sales skills an added advantage
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
- High level of attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
